First Tunnel Boring Sewer Project in the Works
Lahore's Groundbreaking Sewerage Project Approved Lahore, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and bustling urban life, is set to witness a major transformation in its infrastructure with the approval of Pakistan’s first tunnel boring sewerage project. This initiative, designed to enhance the city's drainage system, has been officially sanctioned by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC). The project aims to provide a sustainable solution to the challenges faced by densely populated areas in central Lahore. The sewerage line will span over 32 kilometers, stretching from Larex Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi.
