Sri Lanka witnessed an exciting display of teamwork, skill, and spirit at the ninth edition of the 'C' Rugby Tag Carnival. The event, held on August 30 at the CR&FC Grounds in Colombo, brought together students from various schools to compete in a highly anticipated competition. Among the standout performances was the combined old boys and girls team of Vidyartha College and Pushpadana Girls' School, who emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win against Science/Girls' High School Mount Lavinia.

The final match was a tense affair, with both teams showcasing strong defensive strategies and cohesive teamwork. Over 2,500 spectators gathered to cheer on the participants, creating an electrifying atmosphere that highlighted the growing popularity of rugby tag in the region.

The Plate Championship was claimed by the combined Kingswood/Girls' High School Kandy team, who triumphed over Thurstan/Devi Balika with a score of 2-1 in a thrilling match. Meanwhile, Wesley/Methodist took home the Bowl Championship after narrowly defeating Dharmaraja/Mahamaya with a 1-0 victory.

The tournament featured sixteen teams, each representing a unique blend of schools. Organized by Agoal Rugby under the guidance of renowned international referee Dilroy Fernando, the event has become a significant fixture in the rugby calendar.
