Additionally, she was honored at the World Women Leadership Congress Awards in Mumbai for her pioneering work in promoting Ayurveda as a modern, healthy lifestyle.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Computer Science from Middlesex University in London. Before returning to Sri Lanka in 1996, she gained valuable experience as a Systems Specialist at Royal Mail in the UK. This blend of academic and professional expertise has allowed her to effectively integrate traditional Ayurvedic practices with modern business strategies.
