System Checks Begin as Korea Post Aims to Resume Operations Korea Post has initiated system checks to restore normal operations following a fire that disrupted postal and financial services at the Daejeon National Information Resources Service (NIRS) data center. The incident occurred on the afternoon of the 26th of last month, leading to significant operational challenges for the company. A representative from Korea Post stated on the 28th that testing has begun to ensure all services, including postal and financial operations, are functioning correctly. They explained that while the financial servers were not physically damaged by the fire, they are located on the second floor, whereas the fire took place on the fifth floor. As a result, services can be resumed once normal operations are confirmed.
