Cheryl's Eco-Home Hits Market: Six-Bed Former Residence Lists at £4M

A Glimpse into Luxury: Britain's Most Expensive Houses

Britain's Most Expensive Houses is set to return to Channel 4 on October 8 at 10pm, offering viewers an exclusive look into some of the most luxurious properties in the country. This season features a stunning six-bedroom mansion that once belonged to the singer Cheryl. The property, located in the Hertfordshire countryside, was home to Cheryl between 2015 and 2016, during which time it served as her modern eco-home complete with a cinema and swimming pool.

Cheryl eventually left the property to move in with Liam Payne in Surrey. The house was initially listed for £5 million in 2017 but has now come back on the market at a lower price. The home, named Brickfields, was originally a brickmakers’ site before being transformed into an award-winning residence. It is now featured in the new series of the Channel 4 documentary, giving audiences a rare glimpse inside this state-of-the-art hideaway near Radlett.

Jeremy Fine from estate agents Godfrey and Barr invited a couple called Mark and Linda to view the home, which was built shortly before Cheryl moved in. He shared his admiration for the property, stating, "It's actually one of my favourite homes I've ever dealt with. It's been super popular with a huge amount of big names, footballers, A-list celebrities."

The home boasts a striking brick exterior and a unique round wing known as The Kiln. Each of the six bedrooms comes with its own ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe for the master suite. The property spans three floors with two wings and is accessed via electronically operated gates leading to secure parking areas.

On the ground floor, residents can enjoy a swimming pool, steam room, gym, and wine cellar. A cinema room features a 110-inch curved screen along with a bar. The designer kitchen opens into a dining area, while a roof terrace includes a hot tub, barbecue, and landscaped gardens. Additional features include underfloor heating, a multi-room sound and CCTV system, a ground source heat pump, and solar panels.

In addition to Brickfields, the new series will also explore other luxurious properties. One such location is The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, North London, famously known as 'Billionaires' Row.' Among the properties featured is Fair Hill, an eight-bedroom, 13,900 sq ft mansion currently on the market for £20 million.

Other highlights include a three-tiered hillside mansion in Jersey, which includes a six-car 'garage salon' equipped with a car lift. Additionally, a seaside mansion on the West Sussex coast called Waters Edge is up for sale, featuring a 165ft garden that leads directly to the water.

As the series returns, it continues to showcase the opulence and grandeur of Britain's most expensive homes, offering a fascinating insight into the lives of those who reside in these exclusive properties.
