Kajiado Mother in Crisis as Son Blocked from School Route

A Mother's Distress Over Her Son's School Access

A mother from Kajiado is facing a deeply troubling situation after her Grade 2 son was allegedly denied access to the gate leading to his school. The incident has sparked widespread concern and outrage, with many questioning the fairness of the decision.

In a video that has gone viral on TikTok, the distressed mother can be seen walking through the estate while explaining the ordeal that has significantly impacted her family’s life. She claims that the issue began when her son, named Kinda, got into a minor fight with another child at school. According to her, the teachers intervened and resolved the matter, with both children apologizing to each other and moving forward.

Despite this resolution, the mother alleges that her son was subsequently told not to use the passage to the school. She emphasized that her son had already asked for forgiveness when the teachers reprimanded him and addressed the issue within the school setting.

The Ongoing Struggle for Access

The mother further revealed that even though her son allegedly apologized three times, he has still not been allowed to use the road, which serves as a shortcut to the school. This ban has made it impossible for Kinda to attend school, as the blocked gate is the only short route available to him.

“My son sought forgiveness thrice, but was never forgiven. So he is on a forever punishment for something that was resolved in school,” she said, appealing for intervention.

The video has ignited strong reactions online, with many Kenyans expressing their support for the mother and threatening to take action to ensure the young boy’s right to education is protected.

Public Outcry and Calls for Action

Social media users have voiced their anger and frustration over the situation. One user, Muthoniwanjeri, wrote: “Kenyans, let's show up for this mama. We are building a Kenya who we respect each other without caring if your untouchable. Surely, a whole woman dealing with Grade 2?”

Another user, Mims, commented: “That is emotional torture to a Grade 2 kid. If I can afford to pay school fees for Stepping Stones and the teachers are siding with that parent, I will immediately transfer my kid.”

Karolinah added: “Mambo ya watoto wadogo ivo mzazi hafai kueka kwa roho. Kids are kids, they fight today tomorrow they are best friends. Ata bila pole, kama barabara ni public that madam has no right over it.”

Another user, MELo, wrote: “Vita ni lini na ni saa ngapi? I am ready. Mumama mkubwa hana akili anakua na ugomvi aje na mtoto wa Grade 2.”

Concerns Over Caretaker Issues

Elsewhere, TikToker Cindy Baibe has also raised concerns after a video of her crying during a livestream surfaced. In the video, she expressed distress over her caretaker, claiming that the caretaker was causing her stress by making noise for the neighbors.

The complaints came weeks after she moved out of her house in Donholm and relocated to what many believe to be Utawala. Her fans were left worried about her well-being and the situation she is facing.
