Disruptive Passenger Removed from Qantas Flight

A passenger who was described as 'disruptive' has been restrained and taken off a Qantas flight heading to Sydney. The incident occurred on flight QF654, which departed from Perth and was en route to Sydney Domestic Airport.

Cabin crew on the five-hour flight reportedly sought assistance from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) before landing. According to reports, other passengers helped the crew in restraining a man who was acting erratically during the journey.

An AFP spokesperson confirmed that officers were involved in removing the passenger from the plane. However, no arrests or charges have been officially announced at this time.

'More information will be provided at an appropriate time,' the AFP spokesman said to Daily Mail.

Qantas also confirmed that police assistance was required during the flight. The airline emphasized its commitment to safety and stated that it has zero tolerance for disruptive behavior on board its flights.

'The safety of our customers and crew is our number one priority,' a spokeswoman said. 'We're grateful to our crew and other passengers who assisted during the incident.'
