Shinsegae Wonderland: A Magical Christmas Experience

Shinsegae Department Store has launched its highly anticipated Christmas market, 'Shinsegae Wonderland,' offering a wide range of festive decorations and gift items. The event is designed to bring the magic of the holiday season to shoppers, creating an immersive experience filled with Christmas cheer.

The market will be open until the end of next month at the Gangnam branch of Shinsegae Department Store, located in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Specifically, it will be set up in the space connecting ‘House of Shinsegae’ and ‘Sweet Park’ on the basement level 1. This area will be transformed into a ‘Tree Road,’ where visitors can walk through a beautifully decorated path filled with Christmas trees and ornaments. Large trees and photo zones will be installed, allowing guests to enjoy a forest-like atmosphere within the department store.

Visitors can explore various multi-brand stores that offer Christmas-themed items, including Advent calendars. Thirteen well-known brands are participating in the event, such as The Village Shop, Lucia, J.Dot Tree, Focus, Uthefullife, Present Moment, Erde, Mood, Made Pani, Papimong, Good International, Mini Toy, and Sihyeonhada WYC. These brands contribute a diverse selection of decorations and gifts, ensuring there is something for everyone.

In addition to the shopping experience, the market features a variety of events throughout the season. This month, the ‘Mini Toy Gacha Shop’ will offer character goods and limited-edition merchandise, providing a fun and interactive way for visitors to collect unique items. Next month, a self-photo booth will be introduced, enabling families and couples to capture memorable moments together.

A DJ space at the center of the market will play Christmas music, adding to the festive ambiance. Additionally, a dazzling Christmas video show will be held at House of Shinsegae, further enhancing the magical atmosphere of the event.

From the 14th, the main branch in Jung-gu will also open the Wonderland market, this time on the 4th floor of ‘The Heritage.’ This location will showcase limited-edition ornaments, light frame decorations, and train candle sets created in collaboration between Shinsegae and the participating brands. These exclusive items provide a unique opportunity for shoppers to find one-of-a-kind holiday treasures.

A representative from Shinsegae Department Store expressed their hopes for the event, stating, “We hope families and couples will spend time together and experience the warmest moments of this winter.” The market aims to create a welcoming environment where visitors can enjoy the spirit of the season while exploring the wide array of festive offerings.
