Launch of AI-Powered Exam Prep Platform by Foundation and Group

Introduction to the AI-Powered Examination Preparatory Platform
In a significant move towards modernizing education in Nigeria, an Lagos-based non-governmental organization, the Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF), has partnered with Study AI to launch Nigeria’s first AI-powered examination preparatory platform. This innovative initiative is specifically designed to support final year Senior Secondary School students preparing for major exams such as WAEC/NECO and JAMB.
The program targets two hundred SS3 students from secondary schools located in Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs within Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II of Lagos State. These students are the pilot beneficiaries of this groundbreaking scheme.
The Vision Behind the Initiative
The founder of ATF and Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Segun Tomori, emphasized that this initiative is part of the foundation’s skills development and scholarship scheme, which is one of its five core pillars. In a statement, Tomori expressed excitement about pioneering what he believes is a paradigm shift in exam preparation through the use of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence.
He stated, “We are excited to pioneer what we believe marks a paradigm shift in exam preparation—the deployment of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence. Study AI has developed something truly innovative and unprecedented, and we are glad to support the preparation of high school students in my constituency. Our goal is to ensure that they excel in their final exams and secure admission into tertiary institutions.”
Addressing Educational Challenges
According to Tomori, this initiative aligns with the foundation’s commitment to enhancing access to quality education and fostering skills development. He highlighted that for millions of Nigerian students, preparing for national examinations remains challenging due to limited access to quality materials, outdated study methods, and the absence of personalized academic support. These barriers contribute to persistently high failure rates across major national exams.
Tomori noted that Study AI directly addresses these gaps by offering a dynamic, curriculum-aligned digital learning environment powered by artificial intelligence. Through real-time corrections, adaptive study paths, gamified motivation systems, group study features, and realistic mock exams, the platform equips students with a more effective and engaging way to prepare for high-stakes tests.
Expanding the Reach of the Platform
Designed for scale, Study AI aims to support hundreds of thousands of learners nationwide as it expands. Tomori added that the foundation intends to track performance on the platform, reward top achievers, address students’ needs through Study AI’s online support team, and conduct mock examinations to ensure students are fully primed for success.
Insights from the CEO of Study AI
The CEO of Study AI, Yvonne Momah, affirmed that the platform ushers in a new era in examination readiness for Nigerian students, emphasizing its focus on intelligent, personalized learning. She stated, “Our mission is to make high-quality education accessible, affordable, and engaging for every learner. With AI-driven tutoring, real-time feedback, and gamified motivation, we’re building a platform that truly understands students. This launch underscores our commitment to transforming exam preparation and unlocking brighter futures across the country.”
A Continuation of Educational Support
This AI-powered exam preparatory platform comes on the heels of ATF’s successful ‘Back to School’ programme, which provided learning materials to hundreds of pupils in October 2025. The foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to improving educational outcomes for students in Nigeria.
